The narrator tried her best but had minor flaws. G.Britan/France wanted Siam to be a buffer between them, Japan did not need to be colonized because the Western powers already exploited China. However in the 1890s Siam suffered territory loss to France. Many thousands were killed by the Japanese during this construction. Thus I find how the people of Thailand show the ultimate disrespect to our fallen heros by disco and karoake boats floating past the cemeteries. Yes, sometimes I am not historically precise, but I try, and I appreciate added information. Thanks for the corrections, and thank you VERY MUCH for the compliments! We have a western building it's because The Thailand King has sent many princes for studying in Europe for a long time BEFORE colonial time. when they came back they built many palaces which is a western style. As you can see ,some architecture are the combination between Thai and Western. Please keep in your mind that we ARE NEVER BELONG TO ANY WESTERN COUNTRY !!!
